About Makenzie

Hi! My name is Makenzie Couch (yep, just like the furniture), and I am a performer currently based in Colorado. 

Some fun facts to know about me - my favorite musical is Shrek the Musical, I am a longtime Swiftie and proud of it, my favorite composers are all named Stephen (Sondheim, Flaherty, and Schwartz), and I love to spend my free time baking dairy-free treats, playing word games, and traveling to new places. 

I have been acting, singing, and dancing for over a decade, and I also discovered a passion for directing and choreographing while in college. I love being involved in the arts in any way that I can!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Northern Colorado in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. During my time at college, I served as Co-President of my senior musical theatre class and as the Treasurer of UNC's student dance club, Dance Alliance. “Sko Bears!”

I am so grateful for every opportunity I have had in the performing arts so far and am excited for what the future holds!
